broken bits of her heart
littered up his life
shards of expectations
cutting like a knife
sharp is the knowledge
with clarity of mind
she's still be here
if he'd just taken time.
it would only have taken
an hour here or there.
a few kisses stolen or
to gently stroke her hair.
instead he brushed past
and strode out the door
always too busy not seeing,
to stay she needed more.

People show love in different ways. For some, it's in physical affection. For others, more practical gifts such as money or de-icing a windshield seem to be the ideal gift for a loved one, however much the pursuit of those gifts might detract from a physical relationship. Sometimes relationships are a double-blind study. ^_~

Life Is Busy.
Life itself is purely busy...
There are also those that are lazy.
Seems to me this poem describes a lost...
And looks like it was paid at a high cost.
Your entry means a lot to me...
It's a nice write, simply.
