If I were to go insane
Though, no doubt, I'm coming close
Would you wait here by my bedside?
Or, at least, please leave your ghost?
I've grown tired, worthless, lost for words
We know our chance is slim
So when you leave me, lost all meaning
Pray, tell you'll leave him
My life just keeps on stalling
Like my engine's checkup's due
So I'll be stuck here, content, feeling
What I've left of you.

sigh.
um.
the title explains it all.

It is so creative.
And I agree with it.
Thank you for your entry. -
Oh. This is a very sad little poem that you have penned in here.
I thought that the title was really interesting and so I wanted to see what you meant by it. I'm not sure I entirely understand what you were wanting be to understand about why they shouldn't but I sure could feel a lot of your conviction in this.

How strange. I've never noticed that people get so caught up in the lives of those they'll never even meet. Interesting metaphors you present here. Nice write.
