Flat on my face I took a great fall
It was then the Father came to call,
"Dear God," I cried "Why bother with me?"
"For you are my precious child you see!"
"But God, I've done so many bad things,"
"You need the joy only Jesus brings,
just ask Him now to come in your life
He'll wipe away your sorrow and strife!"
I bowed my head, said the sinners prayer,
looked up and Jesus was standing there.
"My child," he said "I forgive your sin,
you opened the door and let me in."
I fell to the ground and kissed His feet,
for I never thought that Him I'd meet.
I call upon him now ev'ry day,
for He is THE TRUTH, THE LIFE and THE WAY!
This world is full of chaos and pain,
but I've everlasting life to gain!
Thank you Lord Jesus for saving me,
to be with you for eternity~
