earth day.
Join the earthly
earth day.
Recycle, replenish, respect you see
they're the three R's of ecology.
Saving the earth's what we must do
try to cut back pollution too,
and now it's up to me and you
keep earth day the whole year through.

I did not write this, I heard a version similar to this when I was in elementary school and have tried to pen it here as I remember it. In third grade we had a play about saving the earth, this is the only song I remember from it, and I don't remember it too well.

polution = pollution
Cute little ditty. Sad that people can't find it in them to take care of their own planet. People around here would rather bust a glass bottle in the street than walk three feet to put it in the rubbish bin. Sad. -
