Sometimes the advice that we
give, can be so misconstrued.
I cannot tell you just to wait,
there’s no reason to listen to me.
Use your head to work things out,
that’s best you might agree.
I will not be preachy, there
is no impending doom.
But if something does go wrong, you
don’t just get sent to your room.
I know a few girls who ran around
when they were very young.
Two of them got pregnant
and there went all their fun.
If there is no pressure then wait,
the anticipation is half the fun.
A real nice boy is looking for the
same, waiting will make you one.
Tell me I’m old fashioned or
that I just don’t understand.
I’ve been a nut for fifty one
years, because I’ve had a plan.
I know that you’re in love and
I have been there twenty times.
But if you have sex at your age
you’re both committing crimes.
Think about when you’re eighteen
and a virgin you are still .
You can tell the young man you love
then, you’ve never been on the pill.
Sex isn’t the cure for anything it
won’t make you beautiful or smart.
So why not wait a few more years
until you get your start.

I am 51 years young I have no children, that was planned. I had sex at a young age and it did nothing, but complicate my life. There is plenty of time to be grown up, but so little time to be young. Take your time there is no way to regret taking your time, but..... Art (perfect young women) by needs~a~bullet

Yes, I think it's good advice too. I'm all for love, but 15 seems so very young to me, therefore the reason for holding this contest. It's been really good to get the viewpoint of the men especially, and I thank you for adding yours. Funny...when we're young, the boys are eager to encourage a girl to "go all the way", but when guys get older and often (though obviously not always) have children of their own, they are much more willing to say, "wait!". 
I think you make a very good point in your author notes as well...that we have all kinds of time to be an adult, but so very few to be young. Sadly, we're in too much of a rush to "grow up" to fully enjoy it.
Sorry it's taken me so long to comment on this, but I do appreciate your taking the time to write for the contest and share your experiences and views of a very complex subject.
