I’ll wait for you,
and what we will do;
We’ll both play hooky today!
We’ll skip the metal detectors,
and we can go to the Mall.
Go to the “Gap”;
You can sit on my lap;
We can make out and all.

We just hate it always!
Knives are flashed; Revolvers click!
Gang fights really make me sick!
I am the ‘King of Graffiti’!
The spray paint’s in my pants.
We can listen to ‘Hip Hop’ music,
and then, ‘Break Dance!
C’mon, Let’s Play Hooky Today!
School Days, school days;
The cops are in the hallways.
The bathrooms really stink a lot;
Everybody’s Smokin’ Pot!
Call me on the cell-phone;
A ‘Tech-Message’ is okay.
My pants are way below my waist;
My Mohawk’s Green Today!
Let’s cut class and run away!

LOL! Sad thing, that's not like my school. No guns, no violence, nothing bad. A good school. Some schools though, are like that. There are no gangs in this small town. But I really enjoyed this! lol But, yea, thanks for reminding me about school! -.- I don't want it!!

I've no idea of your location, but you're dead on about schools where I am (London). I just left school in July, and our school is metal-detecting all the students. Might be a parody, but it hits so close to the truth it's actually rather disturbing. I like it!

I just couldn't put the tunr to this, the rhythem was all off. Other than that this is a sadly realistic poem about what some schools are like these days.
