New ways, old ways,
that's the way my life plays.
Shopping and eating
and watching TV.
There's really not much
on the tube to see.
I might as well
carry myself to school.
Seeing my friends
would be so cool.
I'll sit at a desk
and take up space
and play with my cell phone,
see your face.
Now I need a car
so I can drive far...
When I feel like
cutting school.
