August Presage

Colossus nimbus clouds rise in the sky
where lofty mountains and tall white pillars
Great thunder hail Zeus'immortality
and August horizons winged revelers
Rain falls to birds trumpet and raucous sound
grand portals open in cirrus domains,
but I do not see the gods of renown

Prophetic expectations allure in visions of fantasy clouds gives one pause to think in terms of higher causes. This has depth in its nature and is a wonderful start as a prelude to a masterful exemplary work. A reader must think in terms of where the author might be driven to venture, what rising horizons call to the spirit? Is it the human need for answers? And or gracing a reader with hard earned knowledge and wisdom? It stands in greatness as it appears at this crossroads. But it surely could grow wings and fly higher too. Nicely done Scribe.
