A boy, a young man
A brave man to be
"But then what of fear?
What furture I see?"
Treasure from dragons
And gold won from ghosts
Cut throats and braggards
Less challenge than toast.
How can be measured
The courage of man
If never was fear
A shake in the hand
He traveled afar
each challenge to take
But none taught him fear
And none made him quake
Returned full circle
Wearied from the road
The graveyard he went
To ask mother toad
"How can I be brave?
If never I've feared?
How does one begin
To learn what's not geared?"
Old wise mother toad
Looked up with a grin
"The greatest challenge
Has yet to begin"
"Go seek your young bride
With courting to start
Then truely we'll see
How brave is your heart?"
A maiden he found
A beauty so rare
Eyes of blue crytal
And dark raven hair
A courtship so sweet
Two hearts were entwined
He then bought the ring
A gold band to shine
With heart pounding fast
And knees at the quake
He ask for her hand
His last name to take
Awaiting answer
apon baited breath
He heart truely feared
As if stopped by death
Three days the waiting
Three days were the charm
Her answer she did give
To walk hand in arm
Her eyes brimed with tears
As his ring he placed
A kiss sweetly shared
upon lifting lace
A boy, a young man
A brave man to be
Husband and father
A future to see
So then what of fear?
What lessons were learned?
Bravery, courage
Are now truely earned

Well, I can't say its horror, but it is a twist.
I have yet to see a man at the alter who's knees didn't shake
