First of all, I'm soooo sorry that I didn't read this composition of yours sooner!! I feel so bad! I don't know if you remember me, but you referenced this write to me a couple weeks ago after reading one of my own pieces. Unfortunately, your message didn't show up on my updated page for some reason, and I didn't even see it until just now...on accident. Anyway, though, thank you for bringing me to these lyrics: They are beautiful and truly heart-felt. Nice message and rhythm within the lines. I'd love to hear the music, as well. I like this piece, it seems to me to be a reflection on so many different things while containing one of the few great truths life holds - all the strength we need come from within our own selves. Others influence us on our way, just as we influence others, however, we are the only ones who can love and respect ourselves enough to change our lives. Thank you also for your comments on my piece. This is really good. I really liked how it was a pick me up song, and the melody essentially writes itself. In contrast, to that emo-crap poetry.
Nonetheless, I really liked what you had here. It was simple, but it was also a message that should be contagious.
Now, thank you for commenting on my poem, and here is my response.
I will start that I respect your opinion. As a matter of fact the only thing that I took to heart was when you talked about my use of repetition. Well I guess i worte it in a lyrical format, so that is why it keeps repeating.
I also kind of grew attached to this poem because it is about my girlfriend. However, they always say don;t fall in love with your art, so I guess I will keep on loving my girlfriend and keep improving my work.

Lovely song and lyrics...I guess that Never lose your heart is like, Never Lose Heart, in spirit...I would think so...I have been told when writing my lines to not start a capital with every sentence or it breaks up the flow. Something you may want to consider...You have a lot of experience writing it seems from your information about yourself..This lyrical write carries a strong message..Bravo!

Never losing ones heart is essential to being and becoming who we are. Nice write. Seems as though the chorus is a bit long, but then I don't know squat about music so please take that with a grain of salt. The words speak volumes and that's what matters. Many blessings to you.
