It's dripping down our finger tips,
As the day fades into dusk,
And dusk
[Sleeps under night.]
Just like we're
sleeping under stars.
Laying on Rocks
and Dreams
And wishing on the shooting stars
That fall from the sky.
It's like they're landing
at the base of our feet,
Kissing our toes,
Exploding in our rib cages.
(At least that's the sensation I'm getting.)
My butterflies are happy,
And racing down rainbows,
As I throw up excitement in an
unnecessary type of manner.
The crickets are hushed by the river,
And the traffic lights change colors
Above the rush of
the automobiles’ symphonic harmonies.
The chills are crawling up my spine,
And we hold on for Dear[, I love you,] Life.
(As if letting go would make us fall apart.)
I think I'm past that,
And I'm ready to pick myself up.
You're drawing sketches on my heart,
And I'm staring at the pictures in your eyes.
The words that fall from your lips
are indescribable but they still mean so much to me.
And while the Shooting stars,
[Falling stars]
[Beautiful stars]
Kiss the magenta and navy sky,
I kiss your lips.
It's like an electrocution of the veins and arteries.
It's like an explosion of chemicals.
It's like, You.
[Perfect.]
And while all you can say is,
"This was amazing."
Well, (I guess I think)
You [+] plus [+] me,
and that sums it up perfectly.
Author notes
So I broke up with my boyfriend two nights ago because I didn't like him like that anymore and I really like this kid Adam.
Adam and I have been hanging out. (He likes me too, obviously.)
And we just aren't together because I just broke up with my boyfriend for him two days ago...
so we figured we would wait.
But last night we went to McDonald's, got a $1.00 icecream cone, and went up to the community center playground.
It has this mini-rock climbing wall that we sat on the top of.
We finished our icecream and layed there, looking at the stars and then, lucky enough we saw a shooting star.
I ended up seeing another he didn't see, and he saw one I didn't see.
But we were just laying there, and then we sort of kissed.
And it was amazing.
(Am I the best at creating first kiss scenerios or what? ;D Obviously you've gotta read my poem about my actualy first kiss with my now ex.)
He was just like, "that's amazing..."
(: It made me really happy.
Because all his other girlfriends were hoes. >.> And all his other kisses were hoes.
So I'm happy that I made our first kiss together like, amazing.
Man, I'm good. ;D
Anyways, That's what this is about. <3

Wow. Extremely well done. You paint such a vivid picture of a first-kiss experience. The only critique is the line "are indescribable but they still mean so much to me." It's just a little awkward and cliche in such an creative piece. Otherwise, excellent write! Thanks for entering and good luck in the cotest!
