Mixed Emotions

Mixed emotions in my head
drown out my surroundings,
building as the seconds tick by,
swirling around like a tornado.

I feel

love

hate

anger

great

happy

sad

silly

mad

lonely

excited

sleepy

united

That tornado finally settles
and my surroundings come into focus
until a couple seconds later
when I adopt a whole new set of emotions...

Oooh, I really liked this ! It was so incredibly creative. I love how you used those little smiley faces as a different emotion. Mixed emotions is right ! haha, I feel all of those myself too actually :] Well. most of them. haha Great poem & I love how you started & ended it with the whole "tornado" touch.
