Ditch the angst it does not belong
You are young enough to believe, sing a happier song
We can not cure the world of all ills over night
but with strength of purpose we will put up a fight.
Believing in something other than hate,
is the way to go forwards not remonstrate,
A closed heart has no feelings except those unkind
despite all the dreaming it starts in the mind.
Each day you are breathing is one day closer to last,
Live for the future but don't forget all the past,
The ones who have hurt are judged in due course
The innocent only shall feel no remorse.
