Welcome back to six
Its been great to be
living without
one thought to fix
comparing physicalities
personalities
abnormailites
totalitarian industries
manufactured genetics
spinning round 'n' round
in our little heads
and dust to dust
connecting hands for the fear
that one complication
will overkill the patient
her heartrate's perfectly normal, darling
just give her a smile
with her one moment
a solitary amputee
the next in
an overwhelming game
of give and take
did i make you
happy today?
are you okay
in my silence?
my family loves to make smile
and i love to make smile with them
my friends love to make aisles
put me between them
and i love to make smile
even with them
putting coins in the toy machine
surprise me this time
i'll give you whatever i can
slow apperception
that i can never give
what i don't have
and i'm sorry i'm sorry i'm sorry
i'm sorry
whoever likes to hear that
without one act of proof
the fact that i never once asked
why you haven't called me
is a fact that i don't care enough
or maybe the fact
that i care way too much
the fact that i love you
in a way that you can't seem
to understand
break a heart
break a leg
and the stage unfolds once again
Author notes
a corny, generic, ambiguous, obvious, repetitive piece of love and reused furniture.
haha! i love it.

You're getting funny. Or you're opening up. This is really on my list of My Favorite Poems by Surface Tension. This is really, really well done. The flow is amazing in the start. I start to get a little lost, but I get the feeling maybe this was the intention throughout the poem. I love it.
By the way. I am alive. Despite working until the AM. -
