Bowl by Bowl

As night does fall, in silent hues; a sigh escapes my soul,
moon blushed shadows interspersed, broken fragments become whole.

Rare dappled light in mirrored eyes, will dance in languid shine,
silent kisses touch searching lips; intoxicating wine.

Hallowed ground offers sweet respite, each breath a whispered prayer,
tainted dreams in robes of white, are gradually gathered  there.

Chords billow high in soft refrain, explode in rich delight,
culminate in Gothic strains, monastic, long lasting rite.

Silver wings in subtle shadows, scoop droplets as they fade,
spooning burdens bowl by bowl into mankind's shallow grave.
