Are we caught in a whirlwind, you and I? So fast, so furious. Where is it taking us? Where will we land? As we spin with such force will the pressure melt us together as one or will the fear of such a violent and unknown wind cause us to cover our souls with the protection of our earthly mind? Will we grab at the debris flying around us and hold on to the familiar? Look! There are some leaves from my well kept garden, let me cover myself! What have I done to deserve you? Is God looking at me and saying, "Nissim, it's your time to be happy, your time to dance, to laugh, to have joy, to marry. I feel it's my time. Will you join me to be close as one; to live to laugh and dance? You are with me. I trust that! I love you, you Karen, don't ever let go either. Together we can hold on to the strongest of winds and make the world spin even faster.......

10/31/05. Part of my "love letters" journal to remember the whirlwind of emotion in the beginning. These letters were written only eight days after our miraculous collision where we met each other on Oct 23rd 2005 on a street corner at a furniture market, spoke for five minutes and began an amazing discovery of love through letters and telephone conversations...what madness! His Name is Nissim, which in Hebrew means miracles and my name, Karen, means light. Our relationship is miraculous and full of light and we will celebrate our marriage this Tuesday, August 19th 2008.....Celebrate with us!
