Words tremble beneath blushing skin
Clawing through eyes, alight amid pools of tears
Fingers quiver and sweat, chilled, reaching out
to meet with the lips of another.
Mouth opens and any hint of a studder is gone,
clearly forms the words with ease.
"I love you."
