The memories after times before
Will last today forever
So blatant, unfit to ignore
And This was mortal terror
So now intensified this terror
That one dare not forget
He'd liquefy who made that error
And this was Not a threat

That's quite good you know! Flibbing, how is it that you are funny, normal (ish) and a good poet? huh huh?
Good poem though, especially the first 2 lines.

This poem is about the instigation of the most violent hatred I will ever feel towards anything. It's not good, whether it is or not, because the truth inside the words explains what they did to me. They turned a little boy who'd never hated anything into a scornful stranger hating beyond understanding.. It's irrational, but so, so fair.

Strong, very strong .. love the simplicity of the words yet they hold such power.
A small thing but the repeat of 'terror" at the end of stanza one and the start of stanza two caught my eye.

short and packed with punch
great flow, well written and to the point.
Really love the ending.
