Saw the opening 'show' of the China Olympics. It was awesome, intimidating & a bit scary! The long silver metallic robes of the drummers was a bit surrealistic, the synchronization perfection & 2000 strong a very intimidating presence! I don't think picking drums [the instrument that calls to war] passed anyones attention. I was left with a feeling of awe & unease at the performance. I've no doubt that this was the intention! If the government can get 2000 men to move in precision like this, just think what kind of an army China has! Ugh...it sends shivers up my spine. Thus is born this Haiku which is a mere presentation of what I experienced & saw!

It was an awesome Opening Ceremony, and they had to tell the drummers to smile. An excellent haiku of what was a unique event, thank you so much.

My mouth was on the floor whilst watching the whole thing. It was amazing wasn't it??
