The last leaf of a barren tree
Carried me up behind the sun
I melted down into the sand
When my bones sunk to the bottom as
Blood flowed into kaleidescopes
That watch everything I do
Then fades away
Sliding off a rose petal
Landing on the moon
An angel with violet eyes
Sing to me and make me sleep
Twilight comes and goes to dawn
All the while my eyes are rolled back in my head
Thinking into the ocean's roar
I'm here but I have gone
Author notes
Angelfish
Crayons
The pupils of blue eyes
Traffic lights
Deformed babies

It sounds like a dream i had a while back. Really big willow tree by the ocean, and i was sitting there, sleeping or something. I don't remember it well, but i love the poem. I love poems that make me think, and this one does a lot.

Great
This is a very interesting, strong piece.
The images created are amazing and I love the use of language, its like the poem dances along while it is being read.
These are my favorite lines:
Sliding off a rose petal
Landing on the moon
its such a gentle start to the second stanza, but creates such vivid images. Really, really good!
