Hold onto His Hand

I don’t think I can hold on much longer,
Why did you say this will make me stronger?
Will I ever pull through this trauma?
Justice to the cause of drama!
Lord will you mend this broken heart,
Help me to come to you and start,
With deeper meaning in my life.
I’ll forgive who caused this strife….

Because I know you’d do the same.

Hold on to you, Hold on,
That’s what I’ll do,
And you’ll stay with me,
Holding onto, onto my hand,
To help me up and stand,
Firm in you, found in you,
Not alone, anymore.

Why isn't there a reason for falling?
Does God even hear me when I'm calling?

Author notes

Still working on the second verse, more to come.

Do you think this could be sung as a song?

DEFINITELY! Beautifully written! Have u worked out a melody for it? I'm a fellow Christian songwriter and I'd love to help out . These words are awesome tho and it'd definitely be something I'd listen to to uplift my spirit! Great job!

Most anything can be sung as a song. Now, as a good song, not as many. But I think that this could be sung as a good song.

    yes

I'm Not quite sure what music you would put it to. My feeling is something soulful. I wish there was a bit more or maybe a second verse though. I liked the 1st and 2ed lines the very best! Many people can relate to that I think. Thanks for the read. Keep writing
