My summer (The imaginary part of it, anyway)

When the last bell of the year rang the whole school knew it!
There were 6th graders swarming the hall
trying to get to the summer faster, somehow.

I was at the back.

It not that I didn't want to leave...

It was just that I didn't want to leave!

So as I stepped outside and got into my mom's van,

It hit me!

My summer doesn't have to be normal!

I can do whatever I want!

Now I was excited for summer!

One the first day I went to the city.

But sadly that ended when goblins stole me away!

So when I finally got free I was in Santa's workshop!

The elf's were NOT kind at all!

They chased me into Egypt with their plastic doll baby's!

I realized that Egypt was a very nice place.

Full of grapes a bananas I left with a tip of my baseball cap.

I walked all the way to Canada before I was hungry again.

I ate some Canadian bacon and left towards home.

When i got there everyone was happy to see me!

I went off to bed.

This was just the FIRST day of summer!there was still MANY days left of summer

"It not that I didn't want to leave...
It was just that I didn't want to leave!"

I particularly liked those 2 lines. I see that you weren't afraid to let your imagination go wild!
Great job. Good luck in the contest!
