Summer came
when spring didn't find
any solid reason for sticking around.
And as summer lingered,
her beads of sweat
blurred every line of logic.
We'll try to imitate the heat of the day,
but time zones
keep our nights from touching.
Summer's over
and so are we.
(even you can't stop the seasons from changing.)
Author notes
summer love, criticisms very welcome
