what is left...

tip-toe through
sacred grounds of yesterday-
where once encased in happiness
-my heart-

housed there for eternity-
in dewdrop kisses

etched in stone of tomorrow
-clandestine memories-
of what is left from yesterday

Amzaing that as we grow old we often reach back for those yesterdays. Sometimes it can bring such joy atother times pain. But nevertheless it is still part of us.

This is beautiful and I think both you and I are lucky to have the happy memories of yesterday. Some people never get any.

This is different to what you usually write. In essence, it's the same, but there's something different about it, too. I like it, though. It's really really great. Heartbreakingly sad, but so well written.
