My journal is very special to me,
It stores all my thoughts,
You better not look and see,
Or you're sure to get caught!
Writing day by day,
Looking at it every night,
I see the stuff I did say,
And it sure is a sight!
I'm sure no one will look inside,
So my soul is full of pride!!!
I have a place that it secretly hides,
It's by my bedside.
I have a birthday party,
The guests go in my room,
I see someone pick up my journal,
And my heart is full of doom!
I say, "Put it down!"
They say, "No way!"
They open up my journal!
They know what what I think and say!!!
The guest wasn't a guest,
And he's grounded today,
My BROTHER's grounded from his Super Mario game,
He really did pay!!!

My brother has never looked in one of my journals.
But he does love Super Mario Bros.!!!

Nice job here pal! You've a good imagination & write these story poems well. I bet you do keep a Journal! You're a writer...not many 11 year old boys can say that. I have a journal that I write in almost everyday sometimes more it is a place where I dont have to worry about what people think cause they cant read it anyway thansk for sharing much love

Great poem. My brother keeps a journal too but not for writing thoughts. Instead he uses it for drawing his own special designs which he says are just part of his own little world. Nicely done.

ha ha ha my sister always used to read my journal... after a few failed attempts to hide it, i just stopped writing it altogether !
now i write poetry :]
