Shamu's Bent Fin (Brought to you by Bussiney Land, And Semen World)

To my Dearest of Fuck Whistles;

You sir put animals in the zoo to watch,
and then you assume that you are
the watcher. But what if you're in
a zoo too, and those watching you
are aliens -- nasty little evil bastards
getting all hard, and brave, because they
have herded you into a matrix
of stupidity based on consumption and sex.
Your god is a grey alien with a fiat
dollar mattress of mixed currency.
Your home is an island called earth.
An oasis of fertility and highly advanced
life form activity of both the organic
and inorganic varieties.
Humans, and other creatures are being kept here,
and used for breeding experiments,
amusement, and slave labor. Controlled by
religion, and domesticated
by false dreams and early programmed
ideologies, and aspirations.

Sincerely,

Shamu's Bent Fin

P.S.

Fuck you Henry Kissinger.
you are a motherfucker of the highest order.
You make Dracula, and the devil, look
like girl scouts high on gingerbread,
and prophylactic tips

Please tell me what you think

Hmm, I looked up Shamu's bent fin to try and see what bent fins and captivity had to do with each other (after reading lubdrkchocolate's comment.) I couldn't find anything. It seems a lot of wild whales have bent fins, too. Although the title of the poem seems to clearly indicate you express disapproval with seaworld (I've never been there, but zoos make me sad, too.)

We are like cows or other kept animals. We really don't see very far beyond our immediate existence in general. I agree with you completely, there.

But, I can't seem to find Henry Kissenger's place in all this.

I read this and I thought that it was really aggressive. But I thought it was really interesting too that you brought up shamu's bent fin. I remember when I was a little girl and I found out that happens to all orcas that are brought into captivity and they were never really sure why. I found it sad and kind of metaphoric of thier captivity. So thinking of that and your tone, I think I get your meaning really clearly on this one.
