The Rainbow

The sky was grey, the wind rattled outside,
There was soggy rain everywhere.
I looked again and saw an amazing sight...

A multicoloured archway in the sky.

It was a sign and a promise that God

Would never flood the earth again

As he did in the days of Noah,

And I remembered that even when

I reach the end of my tether,
There is always hope,

And when all else has failed,
A fresh chance to do something

Inspirational for mankind.

So don't give up -

Your time will come to shine,

Things may look bleak but there is still hope...

You are loved more than you can know,

You are truly special and the world needs you so!

    Amazing job.

Brilliant. I'm going to cry. This is so wonderful. It tugs at my emotions, and makes me smile. Thanks for sharing. I love the rainbow in the background.

Remember the days of Noah. Is that not how today is? People doing what they want when they want without consequence or reason. Seems it's becoming worse and worse just as fortold. It's horrible and a wonder how people can cope. But then there are the friends and guidance of God. Ah what blessings there are in the world only if we just look.

      Thanks

Thank you for this - it's true that the world is just as bad as in the days of Noah, but we live in the age of grace and God's amazing forgiveness for those who truly repent. Thank you, God bless, Harriet
