Darth Vader has countless reasons and desires to snatch the Word from us before we internalize it. Imagine the evil nature of one who seeks to keep people from being saved in wordly appetites! Satan can't take anything. Once we received the Word and saved it's out of his reach. He can try to distort our understanding of it but he can't steal it. God's Word stand up under trial and wants to show it works! With a few deep roots of faith it overcomes shallowness and maturity in Jesus grows in power. We don't have to be rich to be distracted by riches. It is symptomatic of distraction and hedonism. Walking with Christ is the greatest pleasure of my life and it is sacred. Satan is a tragedy in himself. Not much gratification and fun with him!
Keep walking by the Holy Spirit. Jehovah shows the ways and keep providing the Light. How? He provides us with strength in our failings. His emotions are delightful, true happiness, love, joy (I Thim 1: 11) The Apostle Paul said that Jehovah is a happy God and joyful. He is our stronghold (Neh. 8: 10) Few and between these days to feel joy in this old system. Jehovah people have a source it never dries out even in hardship and bitter persecution and sorrow. If we endure we have reasons for joy.
In getting accurate knowledge of the Word, you develop a special close relationship with God. The Bible is inspired by God it is His thoughts, how His mind works, His directives (Jer. 15: 16) The prospect is endless in a righteous new world with God (Rom 12: 12). To declare the good news is a high privilege (Mat. 24: 14; I Cor. 3: 9). To be part of an international Christian brotherhood is the finest association in the world 
Jehovah God gives us many occasions to be joyful (Phil. 4: 4) It is challenging to be victim of injustices and retaliating and bullying. Faith can be tried. We have an opportunity to prove reliance over Jehovah God who help up to cope with anxieties in being calm and peacable in our dealings with others. Phil. 4: 6, 7 says ".. and the peace of God that excels all thought will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus." Don't avoid and abandon true worship to be someone else (Rom. 12: 9)
