Your lips are the betrayers
your throat, the enemy
your mouth becomes a cage
for emotions never freed.
Your eyes may try to speak
your hands may communicate
your chest may feel the sting of love
or the joys of hate.
But your teeth still won't ungrind
your jaw still clenches down
courage still won't push your breath
hard enough for sound.

Spectacular...
You certainly have a way with words, my friend.
It seems very easy to relate to your prose.
Your poetry is all encompassing and very easy to read.
Great job...
