Stumbling into the wilderness alone
the darkness was slowly becoming my home.
My life was empty unable to be me
it was impossible to see the wood for the trees.
Trying to escape my inner void
the loneliness that would try to destroy -
who I was permanently.
Then you came along reached out for me
a ray of light, warmth, hope, serenity
a haven, my fears you slowly started to ease.
Your words where like a warm caress, I was able
to breathe, in time slowly I opened up and started
to believe in myself and as I did your story began
to unfurl. As we chatted a loving bond grew
a friendship so strong that blossomed and bloomed.
Grasping the dark our relationship turned -
from that of friends to lovers as our emotions burned,
sending us into turmoil unable to comprehend -
the intensity of our feelings. A year down the line
they are still reeling, many tears we have cried
as we tried to deny the feelings that ached deep inside.
Coming to terms that this love is the truest kind
based on deep understanding, respect, honesty and trust.
The key to an eternity of the deepest burning love.
Allowing the other person to be who they are completely,
never judging, listening with an open mind and heart.
That is what you and I have done from the very start, never
being afraid to have our say. Every day it feels like the moment
we first met, everything anew. My stomach still somersaults
as I think of you, my heartbeat sings out of control,
my soul takes flight as they intertwine laced together
within the soft glow of the morning light.
Our bodies have yet to declare what we know, soul mates together
our love is destined to grow....darling my love for you is insatiable.

When your world is blessed by the most amazing friendship, loyalty,honesty, trust. A love that makes you ache, but your heart sing, the deepest understanding and respect. When you know you will always be there for one another no matter what..when the simplest things mean the most...then cherish what you have...true love is a beautiful thing.

This is stunning, heartfelt and so loving. It is so true you do need to listen with an open mind and heart, and never judge. If you can't sit, talk and listen what have you got? I think the best kind of love comes when you are friends first..there is always a deeper understanding when that happens.
I knew you two had something going when I read LoveBeat and Lovebeat Plus One, they are both so beautiful yet so different.
I don't think you can help who you fall in love when two hearts call you do know because the feeling sits deep.
