I love that twinge of dark cynicism and hint of bitterness - makes it so spicy!
To be only five lines, this poem is extremely powerful - and packs quite a painful punch.
I'm adding you to my favorites pronto! Anyone who can accomplish this in so few lines is a poetic genius in my book.
Also, I really love the allusions to magic - gives it a sort of surreal feel and inventive, original edge.
