An Evening Bounty

Stirs the cricket chirping lively and bright
beneath the lush clouds of evenings beauty,
a solace to a midnights stroll is here
within the cleaner air of phantom night.
A woman found by my gaze, a cutie
slender, curvy, in fashion styled to sear--
Has my attention slipped? No! I am fine.
But, my reverie has settled booty
ah! That is mans mind, to dream her rear
morning, noon, it's nice; much like a good wine
supple, graceful, elegant her many facets.
So dreams the spell and sips of her unclear.

My emotion stirs evening's tender climb,
to contemplate her nurturing assets.

Author notes

I started this with a line from Longfellow
then removed the line.
"Into the darkness and the hush of night,"
