Mein freund-
I told you I'd be
back today-
We're gonna get those
pictures I told you about-
I also brought a flower for you,
it's not much, just a sunflower-
just a little something,
to say 'someone was here'
to everyone that stops by-
I'm looking out over the water-
an it looks like it's gonna
start raining any minute-
we have gotten so much rain lately-
it seems like that is all it does-
is rain, rain and more rain-
Maybe this sunflower will
last a while- I would like
to think so,
but I don't know.
Well the sun is coming out
again, so maybe we won't
get the rain after all.
There are some kids playing
on the beach across the lake
today, I hope the rain holds
off for them.
I guess, I had better
get back to work now,
my friend.
