Another brother down and out,
receiving his sympathy from a bottle of wine
at the bottle's end
he see's the eyes of his love
cold and unloving
the sweat of last night's sin
sits unkindly on her brow
drips somehow from her eyes
heaves regrettably from her breast
Just another brother down and out,
he recieves his consolace from a whiskey bottle,
at the bottles empty rest
he hears his lover's sorrow,
her sorry's hard and bitter
choking in her throat
it stangles her unworthy apologies
and coughs up her late regret
she' just another bitch he tells himself
not down, but definatley out.
