I wiggle my toes
then cover them with socks
For the color is gone
I removed last night
So my toes lay silent
in soft socks!
Screaming to be seen
I travel to the salon
everyone else in flip flops
with nasty toes
mind hidden in socks
Time for a pedicure!
Spa please with massage
I remove my socks
Seeing eyes watch
my bare toes
Lowering my feet down
into the bath
ahhhh how relaxing it is
one foot first trim and shine
next foot please
as I close my eyes
Then the color of choice
"I'm not a waitress," Is my choice
a deep sparkling red
someone who's job is to creat
different names of polish
for fun, did it well with
this one.
Off to the drying center
magizine in hand
carefully waiting for all
to be dry
Pay on the way out
tip in hand
Smiling all the way
for my toes
are on the
glow!

a small play where the plot is your embarrassment then you being brave and taking your socks off and the enjoyment of getting a pedicure. nice revelatory writing.
