Why won't the wars stop?

Why can't the world be at peace?
Why can't the blood shed stop?
Why can't the guns be destroyed?
Why does every fighter have to drop?

Why can't the world be at peace?
Is it too hard to ask for some peace?
Is it really to hard to love?
Why can't the fighting cease?

Is this world so messed up?
That every child has to suffer,
With a war raging all the time?
Why won't this world differ?

Stab them with a sword,
Shoot them with a gun,
Blow them all to pieces,
This war must be won!

Cut open their throats,
Shoot them in the chest,
Find a finger, stray on the field,
Why won't this fighting rest?

Fight, fight, fight,
Die, die, die,
The consequences are horrific,
Just listen to a child's cry.

End all wars now,
Bring the world to calm,
Start to love and live again,
And stop all this pathetic harm.

Is it to hard to do?
Is it to hard to see,
That everything great is being destroyed?
The world cries: "Help me!"

Author notes

The poem speaks for itself. So many wars all going on at the same time. Is this what everyone wants?

Wow...This is well written sis. Keep up the good work. The children and spouse of the one in the war always seems to have it hard. Even when the child looses a parent. They do take it hard. They tend to start hating as well.
