Eyes opened only after
But first
The doors with a sigh
Bee
He rested comfortably
That dark
Exotic man
Surrounded by soft
Alien sounds
Caressing
Moves of a ship
Large and calm in this unknown
Ocean

Eyes opened to nightmares
Transgressions
Of my time
The crest of
His waves turn slowly
Inside me
Caressing
Alien sounds
But comforting
Heartbeat
Voices
Speaking
Music
Voices
Heartbeat

Embryos ninemonth tenmonth
Jargon swirls
Within this head
Kicking
Crying
Eyes wide shut
Eyes closed
What strange fish
This ocean grows

Wrote this on the 24th June in my English AEA exam. I rewrote an extract from the novel 'Woman on the Edge of Time' as a poem.
