underneath our tree,
escaping the day,
our passion gives way
to lovers' play
we are one
unseen but not alone
we are one
we make this world our own

loved this poem....
won't even admit that I was kissing big old willow trees
upon my last camping adventure on the Yakima River!
I've never seen so many old Willows all gathered together.
I loved your poem!
the bark of that tree is incredible, many old souls in
there it seems!

Awww, girl. Makes me think back to all the silly little moments- well, they weren't silly to me. What kinda place would this be without trees? Ever think about it? I mean, just picture the barren landscape. Glad to know what's up yours... good write.
