i
You are thread and lace enweaved
in cosmic breaths that chime and sing
through sips of sighs on rainbowed skin.
You spin silk in my hands,
and soft, sampled skies
in my eyes.
You shine,
and everything sparkles
ii
You are space, and light imbued
in bolts replaced by bulging moons,
now every time you breathe,
you bend the air beneath my feet.
Oh, to borrow wings from words
that coil and curl
in notes around your fingers.
I see you,
my eyes bloom,
become poets.
