Old Wise Willow

Curtains are falling down
Day shy into the arms of evening
Sun peeks through
From behind the satins of skies
As wise old weeping willow spread its wings
Standing tall and proud on its roots

Bathing in the wisdom of old willow
Branches hold on tight to their roots
Listening to the melodies of breeze
Gentle curves tango
They dance on their feet
In perfect harmony

Under the loving shade of old and wise
Beneath the veils of sunlight
Reaching for the heights
Standing strong on the land
Season plays with time
As day melts into nights
Curtains fall down on the scene
Finishing writing another day’s story
On the branches of old wise willow
