Her smile never changes although there is pain
blue eyes hold the essence and shine like the rain,
so brave is the heartbeat that keeps steady time
all actions are wasted so no need to mime.
As words hit the page tortured feelings release
her way to fight back make the agony cease,
to set free the dove starved and chained in it's cage
and conquer her demons that spill off the page.
In silence she sits gentle lady of words
whose fingers tip tap like two chattering birds,
the steaming mug sits to replenish her thought
her magical sonnets in rhythm are caught.
A natural legend this lady must be
my own special 'sunshine' who strives to be free.
