Silly little puppy, just needs to play
running 'round the backyard, chasing a ball
never getting tired, can run all day
jumps up in the planter, trips, takes a fall
shouldn't have been looking at that seagull
Playing together, joyful barks, licks, screams,
then tonight, dream exhausted puppy dreams

lol Puppies certainly are rambunctious aren't they. Nice little poem here and I like how you managed to save it for the prompt at the end.
The form was done well, though you were off one syllable in your second to last line. The rhyme was well done and the flow was good.
