The love that I feel for you,
it is so very cliche.
It is the love
where the girl doesn't end up,
with the boy of her dreams.
The love where his smile keeps her alive.
His hateful words tear her apart one minute,
and then, his hugs keep her heart roped in the next.
The love where he chooses her friend,
and smiles at the harm he caused her.
The one where he gets the attention he always wanted,
and she is left still wanting.
The love that keeps her waiting, trying, and wishing.
The love she will always want,
but the truth is,
that it is the love that will never be.
