Yesterday was my birthday,
greeted without glee
by me.

Everyone told me I looked lovely.
I did all I could
to look this good.

My mirror is known for its honesty.
A lie would be nice
once or twice.

They say I can be any age that I wish.
I don't wish this one.
I prefer repetition.
