just who do you think you are?
You sound like a heard of elephants
tearing through the house-
You act like a ferocious lion
attacking his prey when you
pounce on a toy or fan-
You whine like a baby,
when in your eyes,
you find yourself on the
wrong side of the door.
You think our bedroom
is your own private jungle gym-
as you decide it's time to play
like a monkey.
The front door is perfect
to go out of,
but the back door is
for coming in-
I'll let you in on a little
secret, Mr. Calvin,
You are a seventeen year old tabby cat,
not an elephant,
not a lion,
and certainly not a monkey
you maybe an old man,
but you act like a two year old kitten.

Over the past few weeks, our cat, Calvin has been so funny to watch, he has decided that he is a kitten or something, he races through the house and sounds like a herd of elephants, and bounces all over our bedroom, knocking things off the dresser and what not! He is a riot to watch somedays now!
