The Interracial Human Race

You know mein Freund-
I've been thinking,
and I think I may
have found a way,

Found a way
to help rid the world
of it's prejudice-

It would take a while,
but in the end,
I think it would work.

Here is how it would work,
if everyone,
Asians-
Native Americans,
African Americans,
Englishmen-

each and everyone
married outside
their race,

The the entire world
would be interracial,

and slowly the love
for the children born of
these marriages
would bring new thinking,

New thinking would in turn
teach open mindedness,

open mindedness would bring forth
a new sense of learning
about the other cultures,

And in learning about other cultures
the eyes would slowly open-

with eyes opening,
to the fact that just
because one is from another culture,

they are still part of
the human race,
and really-

that is all that matters
we are all human beings

one and all-

and need to learn to
love one another-

to get along and
help each other,

like we were meant too.

What do you think
my friend,

Would it work?
I'd like to think so

I'll be back again later
my friend.

Ich liebe dich-

I was watching a movie last night, and there was a line in it, if we all married outside our race, we could eliminate prejudice.

    It hasnt worked so far

From knowing some children from intermixed races I think it seperates them even more for the people I know feel like they dont belong at all .For them to date its very hard for they are mixed and so many are shunned .3Its sad today what the children as they get older go through . I dont know if others have ever been told that but the ones I have met truly have a hard time copeing . The parents dont see it for the young cant really talk to them about it without hurting one of their parents feelings so where does that leave the child .

True, but I have seen it work out the other way too. I just ran with a quote I heard in a movie...

I think that is an excellent idea,
I think it maybe happening as we speak,
I know my children don't see color as the last generation had, and it hard to see the nationality of quite a few by simply looking.
I think God may be working on this already
    very inspirational.
    very unique and creative
    God bless...

As a Metis I love the idea of inter tribal, inter racial relationships. Great poem again.

You are right! It will work and it is happening slowly now. Children don't have prejudice. We teach them that.

    Love,
    Amera♥
