Mine eyes have seen the papers claiming
schools about to start.
My kids are all excited because they are not a part,
of the craziness, the buses, or the gangs that usually start,
I am a homeschool Mom.

Schoolwork at the kitchen table
Field trips to the Barnes and Noble.
We can say the Pledge Allegiance
We can talk about our faith
I am a homeschool Mom.

On Mondays we do Laundry and we teach them how to cook.
On Tuesday we watch DVD's and do not crack a book.
On Wednesday we learn Bible, Art, and then we clean our nook.
I am a homeschool Mom!

Teaching without any pressures
Spending time with my loved treasures.
I get to watch them love to learn,
I get to help them grow.
I am a homeschool Mom.

On Thursdays we have homeschool Group
we get to see our friends.
They play, they learn they talk a lot until
the learning ends.
They're socialized with other people so we don't offend
I am a homeschool Mom.

Yes we learn the basic three.
reading, writing, math with Meee!
This our week is done on Friday so we're happy as can be.
I am a Homeschool Mom.
