Diligence of a Sweet Caress

Remembering Your Sweet Embrace
Such A Calm And Fellow Face
Immediately Sharp At First Glance
A Wolf With Fangs
Til You Asked Me To Dance
Days On The Beach
With A Frightened Pup
Seals In The Distance
And Children Running A Muck
Sunny Days In Clear Existence
And Love Soup By Night
Candlelit Evenings
And Hours Flown By
Deepset In Movies
And Arms Open Wide
Holding My Fingertips Through The Seat
Never Letting Our Love Die
Willing To Give Our Own Lives
To Be Close Again
Star Crossed Lovers
We Had To Stop Before Our Lives Could End
So That One Day We May Meet Again

Memories of the Way You Were

Such imagery emotion and passion for those days as you remember love as it was! To put it in your treasure book of sights, sounds and expression to perhaps take it out again and flip the page to continue!
Enjoy how you took in everything you remember, right down to your own personal feelings about your relationship with someone special...It's your journal, and treasure....Perhaps to continue from chapter to chapter in the future.....Thank you for sharing your life with us in imagery and words!

    Wow Beautiful

This is stunning and the imagery is fabulous. Oh the depth of the love of two matched souls. The imagery is in every line of this poem it is just beautiful. I just got back from vacation and a lot of the imagery you expressed here reminded me of where I was just at.
On the beach, Seals in the distance, sunny days in clear existence the only difference is I was with my daughter and it wasn't a romantic trip for me. I love how you intertwined nature and human love. This is beautiful Lauren. Thank you for sharing with me, for you are a beautiful poetess.
    Many Blessings
    Much Love

You have captured some very expressive descriptive emotions painting in words. The introduction sets up the ambiance of the atmosphere. As your lines unfold they paint the  picture with an easy flow No matter what if love holds you both then we should give it our best to keep it alive and nurture it as best we can. I do like the depth of your thinking.Thank you. I am glad you came to AP and sharing your poetry.

    Lovely!

The words flow so evenly, but what a sad story with the emotions that you penned, it seemed so real.
    Keep up the good work,

    Rend

      It Was Real

And torn from my hands and now only time can deliver a mends. It happened so fast that I did not understand fully. Now I have to be strong and not become entwined in the snare. I was engaged and went through a 2 year tumultuous experience when all we wanted to do was love each other. I have let go of what I cannot control and have rested it in the hands of God.
