Wet porcelain walls transmogrified
The shyest of lips dipped in discourse
The mouth of a womb, utters in verse
A tune heard by the bard and life
Burned by the chieftains
And by the rallies
Cauterized by the sighs
Confined to dull, mellow valleys
The many call home
No windows, no doors
No bars in your mouth
Emblazoned in silence
The true height is unknown
Until the water flows
You are alone
And akasha is made wealthy
By your unwelcomed, dulcet tones.

Wow...nearly every time I read something you have written, I am robbed of words besides wow. Your talent is stunning and a constant wealth of emotion and interest. I would like to know who or what akasha is if you have time to explain.
I am going to add this to my favorites because it has captured me deeply.
Thank you and best wishes.

Many thanks for reading, Child of Water. I put a lot of effort into trying to express myself here, so thank you. Akasha is the fifth and most powerful element, according to Hinduism/Yoga. It pervades all through the universe, and is associated with sound and sky according to an old set of texts called the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, which is a very interesting book that I highly recommend reading. Incidentally it is a very small book as well. But I digress; thank you very much for reading once again.
