Woven Waves

Feeling the earth,
I feel the water,
we understand each other;
we are much alike;
calm and beautiful,
furious and fatal!

Sitting by the sea-shore,
I start our connection once again.
The waves rise with my emotions,
they beat at the rocks.

I close my eyes
and feel the water
come to me,
embracing me
and drawing me in;
We become One!

The Waves rise higher,
elevating me from their depths,
naming me their Queen!

My Waves,
woven beautifully
by my thoughts and feelings,
await a certain young man
to encompass and embrace,
and bring to me.

    Great Write!

    An almost awe-inspiring use of the natural to evoke emotion. Very well done. Again, I enjoyed your use of free verse; better here than some of your other work.Keep Writing! Ed

    *sighs* another beautiful piece by you. ironically i can actually see you sitting at the shore making a connection with the sea. I'm sure it would look beautiful your emotions personified.

    that was my favourite part.
    i especially liked the alliteration in the last line.
    the imagery is really well written

    I can so relate to this... I feel at one with nature out on the beach or at the shore...it's almost as if nature is whispering it's secrets to you.
